According to one of the magazine I have (Muscle Car Review) the fastest Mustang was 1970 Boss 429 (429, 370 hp) which 1/4 mile time was 12.30 sec @ 112 mph.

well fastest 0-60 is the boss 429 concept...if you look here on the site it was rated at 1.8 sec i think

i saw in a magazine... a SE mag that had a 94-98 Cobra run 196MPH.... crazy but Ive been trying to find that mag. when i find it ill scan the article. and yeah the Saleen 281-E is a crazy ride. 11's!!!! I ran into a guy in Coconut Grove with a yellow one and it sounded like an airplane. I asked if he runs it and he said... no!!! What a waste of 60 grand!!!! But he says it will run 11's.... not bad at all for 2V SOHC engine... that is tuned properly... cuz you know Saleen does it right. But Id still take a Roush or a Saleen anyday.
