was moving some stuff around in the garage so I lifted the cover up, looked at it and covered it back up.

 

One problem...the wife


After 5 hours in the car I must say its bit more comfortable than 7. The selectable normal setting on shocks and comfort setting on steering is nice for a long haul. The noise from the exhaust also doesn't rattle your teeth either.

I probably went about 280 miles or so. Went to pick something up and turned right around and came straight home. The Recaros were comfortable but the last 30 miles or so I did have some discomfort in my middle back. I have to get used to leaning back in them. I tend to lean forward when I drive like I'm up on the wheel a bit with my upper body.

Temperatures varied between 33 when I started and about 45 when I got home. She did try to cut loose on me twice while passing and the traction control took over. But not in a big way. I did get her up to 100 on the 85mph toll road south of Austin. Felt like I was doing 60. These cars are just so comfortable and quiet to me.

 

Big difference to me from the 08s I had. I've caught myself doing near 100 while passing on the freeway and it feels and sounds like you're cruising at 60.

Mine feels that way. Its amazing how stable. I could cruise 100 all day.

 

Today was scheduled to be our monthly meet, but the UK had this dumping of snow yesterday. This country is ill prepared for snow and most of our side roads are untreated, so almost undriveable

So, took a couple of snaps of my daily driver BMW, and then opened the garage so my Mustang could sniff the cold air. Then promptly let her go back to sleep

 

Snowing here as well. Have a friend flying in from Stansted today and the flight is delayed almost 3 hours.

 

Freak 50 degree day today. Started her up and backed her onto the driveway. I hope winter ends soon.

 

it's upper 30s here but it got really windy all of a sudden.

 

Man I would have driven it. Let her breath a little!

 

Got her washed and took some pics. You guys weren't joking about the hour before sunset being the "magic hour". Wish I would have had a good camera, but this was all done on my iPhone

Now I've just got to pic one as my new picture... Hmmm

Replaced the idler pulley. For nothing!
