I took off the right rear wheel/tire and looked for the reason why that tire would be losing a few psi every month.
Found a small nail right in the middle of the tread.
Pulled nail, plugged hole, reset all tire pressures, put wheel/tire back on car, and re-torqued all the lug nuts

Also installed new Ford Racing rear bump stops in the girlfriend's Shelby

I bet buddy! Judging by the look of snow and ice on the ground on your driveway, I'd say you have a few weeks yet. It's actually 55 here and sunny

You mean the pm about the appearance mods for me? Or you? I think for me I'm really happy with her look right now. Perhaps next first is full suspension.

For you but if you want to do suspension 1st, make sure to get adjustable rear LCAs.
Steeda rear xbrace too. Try these 2 mods 1st. Do you have a strut tower brace?

Looking good sir.

Thanks Tony.
I think it'll be 3 more weeks before StangBoy5.0's garage is free. He will be doing my grille delete. With all the wiring for the hid fogs, led arrays and horns under the bumper, I hope it'll be easy to remove the bumper.

Sucks man. I calculated that I would save $100 to keep her in storage till April. It won't be worth put her back on the street the last 5 days in March. And that's if all the snow and salt are gone.
Btw, I really love the Barton shifter. Even with the engine off it makes me smile. StangBoy5.0's 2014 CS is easier to shift and the clutch is much softer but even that means nothing because his shifter is stock. That's what he said anyway.

Phil, your insurance is not prorated? All I have to do is call my agent, and he clicks, and says good to go. Vice versa if storing. I'd switch insurance if you can't do that. Takes me 30 seconds, literally.

As for your shifter, my turn to suggest something to you. If you think your Barton is good..... Just wait. Three letters... M. G. W.

After opticoating my wife's new wheels, getting ready to wash Marilyn; her first wash of the year, literally. Temps still at 53 degrees... I need to hurry before it gets chilly.

It's the registration and the insurance total is about $100 savings. I could be wrong but keeping her in storage will keep me from driving her while the roads are still crappy. We have potholes that can swallow a whole Prius after a Honda fit fell in it. LOL

MGW probably is better but I got used to the Barton already. Besides it costs too much.

A guy talking about cost, when he owns vossens loses any argument. :P

But as far as driving on crappy roads, isn't that why you have your oem rims? Which you made me do too

I got a good deal on the Vossens and my wife gave me the tires for my birthday.
In 2 years maybe she'll buy me a Supercharger. The oem wheels are 19s and won't stand a chance with our potholes. The tires are all-seasons so they're ok to use even a few degrees above freezing. My main reason why they're worth keeping.

Are you putting back your OEMS?

I drove into the city to my office which I rarely do. The valet always keeps my vehicles in the VIP section and she was in good company today.

I think I may do that next year Burton. I keep the insurance on my car year round even if I am not driving it.
Do you just call your insurance company and say cancel it till April or something? How do you go about doing it?

Yeah Tony… Depends on insurance company I guess. But yeah, it's all automatic and electronic nowadays. I could literally start stop start stop start stop insurance. It's all prorated. I pretty much tell him, put it on storage insurance until I let you know I'm ready to drive it. He says ok, then I'm good to go

Drove it to on an hour each way road trip to take my daughters out shopping. While out we played under the over pass and made wickedly loud vrooms. First time my daughters heard it. They were like, holy crap mom.
