I found a nice dent in the passenger rear fender lip. Right on the angle so it is in a craptastic spot but it is also small enough to just be a crease and big enough to be seen.

Looked at her in the garage today. I think we're supposed to have pretty good weather this weekend, so I'll take her out Saturday and Sunday morning.
I can't wait. I wanted to take her out today, but after working 11 hours and having to workout, that wasn't going to happen.

Yeah, tell me about it. I did that Tuesday, Wednesday and today. Hopefully tomorrow there is no overtime. It's not mandatory, but I figure I can use the money to pay some of the principal off the car.

Awesome guys.... It makes it that much sweeter when you do take it out eh? Hang in there guys weekend almost here. Tomorrow I am taking my wife out on a date in her. 65 for a high. Taking her to dinner then a car show.... Win win for me.

Tonight I applied a 2nd coat of blacklight. Will apply a final coat of Fuzion or souveran... Or maybe Pete's 53... So many choices. Was too lazy to take out my Nikon, so my iPhone pic will have to do lol

Had a detailer around today to check my car before quoting for a paint correction session. Looking at the swirls and holograms in the paintwork under his special light made me sad, but I know she'll look 100 times better soon

FromZto5.........if he gets it even close to Marylin's superb paintwork, I'll be a happy bunny!

He hasn't yet. I'm in no real rush and he has got a lot of work on at the moment, so I told him to get back to me after the weekend. I'm expecting it to take somewhere between 10-15 hours. He did an interior valet on my wife's Volvo XC90, and that took 7 hours, but the work was outstanding.

Will keep you posted

Yes, usually with new clients I get the "my paint is so nice why do I even need a correction session". That's when I whip out my swirl, halogen, and florescent lights. Then I see their jaws drop. Then I move the lights to my car, and show them the glassy condition of my paint. Then I reel them in with the business

FYI, a full correction could range from 400 to 800 dollars for a 20+ hour job.
