You cannot do that in a tight space and I often end up bumping my shoe on the door panel or speaker cover while trying to get out.

Other than that I really have no issues about the design and quality of my Pony...
Agree on the plastic doors. I do love my new GT vert, but it is interesting to see the compromises that are made in the name of FoMoCo shareholder profitability. I paid close to 40Gs for this set of wheels. Here is my list of gripes.
1. Plastic door panels.
2. Leather seats that have more vinyl and cloth than leather (and I got the upgraded sport seats).
3. I have to add hood struts on a $40 K 'premium' car?
4. Speakers on shaker 500 are marginal at best. I don't need 1000 watt Shaker, just better speakers.
5. I open the console in the center armrest with my elbow at least once a day.
6. Body panel fit is imperfect. ( passenger door to fender gap uneven)
7. The cheesiest floor mats on the planet
8. That I had to pay $525 to get heated seats in a convertible.
9. That the power seats have a manual seat back adjustment.

if this car wasn't a premium GT convertible, I would understand most of these corner cutting actions. All this said, my list of likes is longer than my list of gripes. I do hope someone from the Ford engineering and marketing teams read this. There is always room for improvement in any car.

What yr?

That it's not a convertible. That it's not a boss. She's a good first love though.

I had to do that the entire time I owned my 2008 for four years. With the 2010 I have had no problems with the gas pump cutting off before the tank is full. I really like the new capless fuel filler but I always feel like I am forgetting something when I pull the pump nozzle out and shut the lid...

I'm glad it's not just me with that problem. I rarely take mine out if I am not going to park in someone's driveway.

Nothing really in the '11 V6 'vert 6MT except:

Soft shock control... a fast whoop dee will hit the stops on the up.
My Contour SVT was more buttoned down. KYB's will fix (per these forums).

Shifter hangs occasionally on upshift. Again fixable.

That weird vibration thru the driveline on a higher rpm deceleration. Feels like it's 'Jake' brake ! Fix is one piece driveshaft (I think).

Otherwise, ya did fine with this one FoMoCo.

Ditto on both, but I guess the head rests are adjustable now.

I wonder if anyone has tried bending them back? I always have to set the seatback one extra click to get the pressure off the back of my head.

Not sure if the controls will work. Have to check the wiring.
