Ricers that haven't done anything except appearance mods and replaced the muffler of the car to get that awful pissed off mosquito sound. We have a meet every thursday in the parking lot of a local restaurant and the ricer posers will pass by and rev their engines. Very comical!

The only time I hate a Camaro owner is when a V6 Camaro passes me going well over the speed limit (I try not to go more than 5 over if possible) and gives that smug *** look like they just won a drag race or something.

Some of those old Camaro muscle cars still look cool but not nearly as hot as the Mustangs. I watch them roll on the block at BJA and can't believe how many of them there are. As far as the ricers go, I figured if you had to save cereal box tops to do mods to your car, you get what you pay for.

Don't be a hater. They are car enthusiast too. Just because their taste for cars is different doesn't mean we should hate them. Maybe their budget restricts them from owning a Stang? Who knows lol.

Maybe we should all get together and collect box tops for them all. Who's in?

Do boxtops come on cracker jack boxes? That's where they get those "cars" from already I'm sure. Right?

Cracker Jacks is an American institution and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't put a four-wheeled crotch rocket in the box as a prize. But they may fit!

This.

There are some great Japanese cars out there. I traded in a Subaru STI for my Mustang. It was a fantastic car especially for living where you get snow.

There are plenty of domestic owners that do that too. Toss on a pair of axle backs and mod the exterior.

I'm not a big ricer fan but there are a couple i'd take over a Camero, like the Supra's, GT-R's, the NSX's. After those it would be the Camero and maybe the Challenger.

Well yes. I have seen plenty of Neon's, Focus, and various GM models with the same setup.

There is a big difference between putting axleback's on a V8 and a 4 Cylinder. I myself fall into the "Axlebacks and Exterior mods" category due to not wanting to mess with my extended warranty. But the engine mods are coming as soon as the warranty is expired.

I just wonder what "ricers" we're talking about, because there are plenty of imports that would whoop up on many of the recent V8 domestic offerings.

My understanding of "ricer" as it relates to the imports is your typical old civic with a fart cannon and some gaudy body kit. However I don't view formidable import sports cars like the Supra, NSX, Z, etc. as "rice."

I also understand that it's also possible for a domestic to become a "ricer" based on how it's modded.

Agree with this completely!

"Rice" definitely isn't just for foreign cars.

Ricers with those fart cans on the back ... Like sound actually makes you go faster!! GT-R is respectable but only a respectable person can afford one and it's very unlikely to be modified.

Camaro guys for the most part have the same mentality as mustang guys.

Sadly the Mexican thing is true, a couple cousins have done the huge spoiler and fake chrome trim *smh* on their cars. But around where I live ( Minneapolis,mn) most the people doing the horrible ricer thing are ecuadorians. Saw one with a front bumper made from gutters lol

i respect being able to make big horsepower on an 4 or 6cylinder import.what they do is somewhat amazing.but IMO its america and i feel my money can be spent more cost efficiently and support our own american vendors doing it all american. if i lived in japan i would own a ricer.

just think about how much money it takes to make 500 horsepower on a japanese 6 cylinder. for half that price i could be running 9s.FORD for life baby!
