I used to race there when I was in High School back in the sixities. Here is a vintage photo of me and my 65 Dodge Coronet 500 w/426 street wedge. One wickedly fast mid 14 second car.

Very nice. My friend is restoring a 68 Charger R/T and the 440 is at an engine shop right now being rebuilt. But it doesn't look nearly as nice as that. Last time I worked on it (Sat. I think) I came home full of primer and dust from sanding

That is a photo from 1965. The car is scrap metal somewhere now.

Oh a '68, I love Chargers especally that orange one.. I would love to see a pic of it

Sorry Jay, no pictures. It's nothing to look at right now. We just finished painting it with Primer, only to find out that the rear quarter panels need to be re Bondo'd :bang: So that means more sanding and another layer or primer.

We have plans to take it to Joliet when it is finished

Sounds like merriville. commercial says just 2 miles east of I-65 on route 30. That would be cool, a little closer to me than rt41 dragway. Thats about an hour south from there. on route 41
