update on my gt500

I was experiencing a hissing noise when i let off the clutch on my 2007 shelby gt500. I did some research and this is what i found. This is a statement made by ford! "Some 2007-2008 gt500s equipped with manual trannys may exibit a "HISS" noise from the drivline during clutch enagement. The hiss noise is most noticeable during inital engagement of the clutch in 1st and/or reverse gears and is considered a normal characteristic caused when the cerametalic clutch lining contacts the pressure plate and flywheel metal surfaces. the noise has no effect on the performance or durability of the vehicle." This makes me feel a little better now and i wanted to post this incase anyone else was experiencing the same problems!

That's good news then. I was wondering if the 07 came with the twin disk clutch or just the single. Dunno.
