tint...
a couple of questions...
1. anyone know what the allowable tint % is in the NY area? Is it 35%
2. where are you allowed to tint? ie: side windows, back window, obviously not front window. ect
3. what should I be looking to spend on a good quality tint job in the NY area?
4. any recomendations for a place to go get it done within 30 miles of NYC?

Yep, advice on the various laws from state to state are readily available on the 'net, I'd rather go there first
I wonder though, does anyone ever bother having the tiny rear side windows tinted when they get tinting done? They're so small they almost look tinted as is. Or once tint is applied to the door windows they rears look "out of place"?

Mine are tinted and louvered. You don't "not" tint them just because you're covering them.

I was just asking about the rear side windows, not suggesting it.
But don't ever think "nobody would think like that". I'm often surprised by choices people make, to the extent that I don't think I would ever consider "nobody would think like that".
