Tag's first ride in the Mustang
he did not know how to get in, so we first put the top down, lifted him in onto his blanket and looped his leash through a seatbelt. then put the roof back up.
the i left him to grab a coffee, but he stayed in the back seat, no problem.
then out for a walk, he was pretty happy and enjoyed the ride. not used to the tighter quarters though. definitely not his f150 style...
i wasn't gonna let him think i was gonna lift him out every time, so i let him dicover the exit strategy himself. it took him 15 minutes. The sound of his dinner pouring into his dish seemed to encourage him lol

Awww what a handsome doggie. I have a golden retriever, Katie. She loves going bye bye. She has only been in the stang about 3 times. She's a daddy's girl and goes bye bye with him most of the time with him in his truck. She loved riding in the vert with the top down. Once the weather gets nicer, I'm taking her out for a ride.

Those are the best pics yet of Tag, Darren. You didn't even need captions....the expressions on his face tell the whole story. The second pic with the sad look on his face is my favorite....it's as if you're never coming back for him!!!
I nominate Tag as the forum mascot.

The expressions are priceless. A little surprised he couldn't get in the car. All most owners have to say is, "RIDE?" and the dog will tear the door off to get inside.

That's awesome.
He was happy. You can see it on his face.

I guess because I'm not a huge dog (or cat) lover, my first thought was "You're ok with getting pet hair all over your car interior?".
When I brought my 2015 mustang home and my 17 year old son asked when he could drive it, I told him "Let just plan on never and see how that works out."
Maybe I'm just too overly protective of my first Mustang.
But yes Tag and Katie are both pretty looking dogs, and both look like they are enjoying the ride.
