Switched fuses

Hello all I installed some leds in my grill today and the manufacturer provided some fuse plugs with the kit. I used the fuse plug that worked with my fuse box and the lights work the only problem I am having is that they won't turn on/off with the car only the remote that was provided. I tried the radio fuse, ignition fuse . This is on the fuse box in the engine compartment. The reason for using the fuse tap is because I didn't want to run a wire through to the inside and plug it into the 12v power plug. My car is a 07 gt. Everything I read has said to use a switched fuse ( a fuse that only works when the engine is turned on ). Any ideas will help.

Found it. I use fuse #42 which is the engine#3 fuse. Everything I found said that it should be ok to use. Got some pics for everybody. I have to adj. them yet but I think they look pretty good.
