Special Interest Plate
So I was planning on getting a vanity plate, or as the state of CA calls it "Special Interest Plate", for my car and the plate I want is available... But I'm confused. It doesn't ask for any information about the vehicle. Once it's delivered to the DMV of my choice do they take care of what car it's actually going to be on then? I'm confused and don't want to make a purchase untill I fully understand it.

No idea what it is like in CA, but here in Ontario Canada they do not ask what vehicle the Plate is going on until you get them and then register them. It does not matter what the car or Truck is as long as they authorize the name on the plate. Some things get rejected.
