Sound system help
Well bass is omnidirectional so technically anywhere can give you the same results, but a lot will beg to differ if you are going for sound quality. My opinion is that rear facing subs usually result in the cleanest hit. 2 12's is definitely going to be a lot, you'll want to look into sound deadening the trunk just to help minimize rattles.
Well of course the preferred method would be dynamat, which is basically a sound deadening layer you end up putting between the metal of the body and the panels/carpet. There are other products out there that do the same thing, and even some spray expanding foams. Honestly, you gotta research it and figure out whats best for your application and the effort you want to put into it. Crutchfield.com always was a good learning resource.
LOL wow good to know I am in "sync" with people. I was just looking at sound deadening stuff. I tab'd over and this was here. I just bought new speakers and subs. I hate how much $$$ dynamat costs. I am looking at another brand also call fatmat.
Its been prob 6 years since i did anything audio related so there could be totally new products out there.. so please dont take my word for it
