Seatbelts in the 05-10 Convertible

I'm having problems with the seatbelt in the convertible Mustang resting on my shoulder and hurting while I'm driving. I tried putting a seatbelt holder by the headrest, but that made it cut into my neck and was actually worse than the original problem. For now, I have a seatbelt holder that brings the lap & shoulder belt together at the waist. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?

Move the seat? I haven't had that problem with mine. What year is yours? And does it have the strap at the bottom of the seat, or the guide by the headrest? I'm guessing that's the "seatbelt holder" you're adjusting?

I had an '07 GT Vert that had that problem for the wife but not me. Ended up with some of these fur wraps that provide a small cushion. Worked good and low cost...any parts store has them.
