The wife & I are buying a 2011 F-150 at our local dealership. The sales manager is a good friend of mine, & he told us last night that he working hard to find a 2011 or 2012 Kona Blue Mustang GT for a customer who has terminal cancer, & has about 4 weeks to live. He just wants to own one before he goes. Not sure what else to say. Sad. Cool, but sad.

 

That is very sad. I hope he gets his final wish. Got to say, its a pretty good way to go out.

I pray he finds it in time. As Andy said, it's an awesome way to go out. Do a massive burnout out before hand though. Maybe the adrenaline rush will give him more time

You know, that thought occurred to me too. And this dealer would probably do just that. They're good enough people. It could be the guy wants his wife to have it after he's gone.

 

Update: they located a car & will deliver it this week. The man's wife is actually buying it for him.

Hopefully the happiness from getting the car will give him more time to enjoy it.
