Removing rear bumper insert lettering

I am considering removing the "MUSTANG GT" rear bumper insert decals on my '94. They are the "decal" type of inserts and were applied with the typical soapy water method.

I am wondering if anyone else has done this and what did they did to successfully remove them.

Thanks in advance.

Hairdryer or heatgun and goo gone will work just fine.

Nah that's what clearcoat is for. Just make sure you wash it off when you're done.

I had my heat gun and goo-gone at the ready but they actually peeled off very easily.
Cleaned up any residue and waxed over the area. You'ld never know the letters were there.

Thanks
