Question about odd occurence
It's not someting that I let worry me, but just wanted ask if anyone has an answer. From time to time without any reason the air bag caution light will pop up on the dash when I start the engine. It will usually go away on the next start, but pop up again when least expected. According to CarFax the car has had the air bag recall taken care of several year ago. Anybody have any idea what's going on here?
For the spell checkers out there I did notice I spelled occurence wrong a key stroke after I posted.

You Can Fix Title in Edit Advanced. I already Did it For You!
Do You Have Anything Sitting on Passenger Seat With a Little Bit Of Weight?
Also If Memory Serves the Airbag Recall had an Early Then Later Revision. Simply Call Dealer with Vin to See if any Recalls are Still Open.

Thanks Kevin, I hadn't heard of the revision. I'll have my dealer check it out. If I say anything about the "little bit of weight on the passenger seat" I'll get in big trouble with the wife.
BTW, I know zip about air bag installation, but I was suspecting something like a loose connection with the front passender air bag.

Yes, I went a total of 3 times to the dealer for those air bag recalls on my '07. One time for driver, one time for passenger, and then another which was probably for both again. I had heard that they initially replaced the air bags with the same old stock, just 'new'. Whatever, Ford wasn't the only company that suffered with these POS items.
I hope your situation is simply another replacement. I really dislike dash lights.

Have you checked for Codes?
My F150 had an airbag light that came on after the bags deployed and were replaced and it ended up being the bags own backup battery going dead. Smart move taking it to the dealer, airbags were something I never wanted to mess around with after being hit in the face by one during a wreck.
