hi fellas,

ok here we go, my girlfriend has a 95 coupe (v6). the air will not blow from the vents or the floor. it will however blow out the defrost. the defrost will blow hot and cool air. but it will not blow out the vents. also it only blows on high. it will not work on the other three settings. what do you guys think the problem is. i was thinking the mixer or the blower. she said she asked at another forum and they said that there was a line in the engine compartment. im not sure which line that is. if you guys have and ideas please let me know. i want to fix it now before winter. actually sooner the better. ask me any questions you have. i will be checking periodically. i just want to fix this with out bring it some where.
thanks fellas!

I would say the line from the engine compartment is the obvious culprit. However, question:

It only blowing on high-did that start WITH the vent failure or separate from it?

Well I have a 95 Coupe and it did the same thing for about a year until magically when my head gasket blew it started working again? It would only blow out of the defrost until my headgasket blew and then it would only blow cold air but out of the vents...weird....

well at first it would blow only on high out the vents, a/c, regular air, and heat. now it only blows out the defrost. im not sure what line your talking about. could you help me out with that. and i don't think that has anything to do with the head gaskets. plus this is a new engine. the old crapped out. this engine only has about 50,000 miles on it. thanks for the help and please let me know any other information.
