Well tonight a few of my friends and I took the mustang to dinner and to just drive around because it's goin in the shop tommorow, so we are cruisin down the road and we see this early 90s mazda with a GTR badge that sounds like my weedeater, so we come up to a railroad and we both slow down, this railroad is horrible and you have to take it at like 15 or you bottom out or something, so as we get going again i hear him downshift, we're at about 30 on a 50mph(the speedo isn't working but i've gotten pretty good at judging speed) so as he tries to pull away i just get on it a little bit and pass the guy like nothing, and this is with 3 very large guys! so i slow down again because it's late, i'm trying to listen to the radio and i don't want to be hauling butt down this road with 4 people distractions, the guy pulls up next to us again, so i just push down the gas a little bit and pull away (i love torque) so thats when the guy got all pissed off and sped up to like 70 so i just let him go( i try to keep it withing 10mph of the speed limit)
the only part i'm mad about is hes going to go say he outran an old mustang tonight!

now let me say i was never speeding in excess and i would never think of driving in any way that could endanger me, my mustang, or other motorists, I am only 16 and i have plenty of time ahead of me to do stupid things! but i wanted to share this story because its something me and my friends won't soon forget

yea, he probably thought i was still "racing" when he passed me so he'll go brag that he took on an old mustang, well until he crashes or something

Ya, it's always fun beating up on the occasional ricer. I've had to put the occasional subaru / Honda / beater in it's place. And as for steet racing...be smart is the best advice anyone can get. Not in heavy traffic, not in neighborhoods, not in daylight if you can help it.

Subtle and yet I get a good sense of the obvious sarcasm. Nicely done.
