That suks! That is exactly why I am afraid to be Nitro on my GT. I would rather go with something safe "like a s/c". Any videos of that exploding?

Yeah, at least the hood was up.....I'm sure that would have caused a lot more damage if it was down and he was driving along the street.

N20 is perfectly safe to run on your Stang. You just have to run it correctly and not get greedy. For example, if its recommended that you only run a 75 hp shot on a stock block then that is what you should follow. Too many people get greedy and will run a larger jet and that is when it can wreak havoc on your engine. Zex and Nitrous Oxide System make some great wet and dry applications. Most of these systems now have many safety features to prevent an incident.

By the way, supercharging your engine isn't any safer. If you install a supercharger and run more than the suggested amount of boost without reinforcing the engine as directed you can have detrimental effects too.

Check out this article for more info Nitrous Oxide 101

Yep, sounds like the idiot hit it way too low. That or he had too much for the engine which looked pretty close to stock by the numbers.

Should probably move this to the SN95 forum instead of 2005+

Who is responsible for that? The owner or the tech doing the testing (assuming a tech was doing the testing)?

Was it just me, or did it seem like each run was being done in 3rd gear?

Did anyone other than myself notice that he juced at a RPM level that was too low? Just think what it would do to a plastic intake like the 05.

Hmm... it didn't work this time, good thing I saved it. It must provide different source codes for each visitor.

Same thoughts here.

It all depends. If the owner was driving it himself, it rest squarely on his shoulders. If it was the tech... well thats gonna be an iffy claim

I know when I've done dyno runs before, I had to sign a waiver that they were NOT responsible for the car.

Please give us a warning if you are linking us to site with x links. No video is worth going to sites like that. IMHO
