Thinking about removing the pony on my stock grill. Any tips on removing it, and or if i should do it?...

Thanks

Removal of the pony on the V6 or GT on 2005-2009 (and I believe all of them) requires a grill swap. The pony is mounted on a pony shaped plastic, so the pony will be there, just plastic instead of chrome. If you were to just want to remove the pony only, it just sorta pops off, I think? May require mangling of the pins from behind the grille... I'll have to look at my spare GT one.

As far as if you should... well, that's just really your own personal call there, you have to live with it. Can you?

Like he said. The chrome pony is set in another molded plastic pony (which is obvious).

Why do you want to remove it?
