Thanks Everyone. Now is the hard part. It's going to be like Christmas Eve for the next week and a half.... Talking to them really made my day. They actually get more than one day to install. I'm dropping it off @ 8AM on the 17th and picking it up late afternoon on the 18th. So almost 2 days. Still it seems pretty quick but they talk very confidently that it's no problem. I'm not having any real special tuning done so I imagine this should be simple for them. I guess I'll know/talk to Adam a little more in-depth between now and then or on the 17th so perhaps by then I'll have a much better idea. Man am I going to be a wreck from about the 16th on. Then I'm gonna have to drive it back in traffic on the way home... no chance to play I wish I had a video camera to try and vid something.
I'm sure that between Bill and Jed I can talk someone into being a the camera man for a couple of "proving ground" blasts.

Wheel Update : Wheels are in, tires are not. Install Wednesday. Even that I'll have some fun. I made (and will remake) a nice little burn out with the stock tires to gauge against the new ones when I get them.... I'll post that pic as soon as I can !!

Jeez this day is dragging for some reason.

It's going to be Leo

I have a couple of things I want before I go blown i.e. spoiler, rims/tires, driveshaft, lca's.

On that note: It's not fun window shopping for the right body shop I just came back from a shop that wanted 850 for the job. This did not include the cdc spoiler or it's paint nor install. On top of that, they want to replace the trunk. Told me it was cheaper

450 was the best I have found for painting the trunk, filling the holes, and labor. For 650 they paint the cdc spoiler and install it plus the cdc 3rd brake light. The shop looks clean. Paint booth looks good. The cars looked great. I might end up going there. Just have to search a few more shops. I'm just really picky/paranoid when it comes to paint

Dang $650 is really steep. How about trying to contact that takeoff place george went to and see how much it is for a white spoilerless decklid? Then just do the install yourself.

Not a bad idea. How much was it for you? Did you install the cdc yourself?

650 actually seemed okay for me I was debating just paying the 450 to get rid of the spoiler and buy the cdc pre-painted.

I paid $450 for paint and install. Remember though I had a nightmare of a time with that stupid shop I took it to. I'd really try and find a white decklid without a spoiler. Just to avoid the hassle of messing with a shop if they don't get it right. JMO. That's what I would do I could I did it again.

that's a very interesting location.

BTW...

Dan- welcome. TMS used to have a welcome smiley, but I think they got rid of it, so this will have to do.

Tom- happy belated birthday.

Jed and others- thanks for helping me with deciding which version of Adobe I need. I ended up ordering Creative Suite Design Standard. (which is why I left the comment above about the pics)

One more thing: is anyone else's font a light gray instead of dark black when viewing posts????

Yup mine is too.

So looks like everyone here likes it in the rear.

I'm torn between the two. I'd get both but I think it would look pretty stupid plus I don't feel like spending $150+ on shelves. Even if they are Mustang shelves. I'll make sure to take some pics once I get it mounted.
