Ponies on The Run (Again)
Not to change the subject but..... My local track will be closed tomorrow due to a 70% chance of rain. This sucks as the next date isn't untill Oct 12 which is the Friday before the SD show. So more than likely I won't be going to the track again untill OCT 19 the next track date. Only positive note is that I'll either have gears or lca's and relo brackets by then.
So Bill, Brian any chance of getting you guys to come down either of those dates?

Gears! How dare you bring up other non-essential choices!
Crap! I was going to go and teach you a lesson in racing!
You lucked out Leo.

If I go... sure!
Someone please pull John out from yesterday and into today's topics.
Leo- save your cash and do the gears. Wait until some FRPP gears are on sale, and take whatever cash you saved on the sale purchase and put it towards the install. Remember, the most important thing about changing your gears is the install!
And quit complaining about having to wait until October to race..... atleast your local track is STILL OPEN in October LOL!! I haven't made it to the track since May and I'm hoping to get there next week before they close.

Haven't even gotten my stripes and all ready planning on a new mod. So with that said looking for some recommendations (performance or appearance) for mods. Must stay within 0-250 range.
Here's some of my ideas.
LCA's and LCA relo brackets
CDC or GDM trunk mat
MGW Clothes hangers and seat lever buckles
Floor mats
Or.... Just save for gears.

I say come on down even if those other to flakes don't.
True I guess I could wait a little longer and get something that I'll really feel. As you'll soon find out here us "Socal wussies" (Daryl's name for us) complain about any weather forcast that's not "clear and sunny" especially if it get's in the way of a Mustang event.
BTW- I'm 90% sure that when I get gears I'm going 4:10 even though it's an auto.
Oh so true.

Next up, hopefully next weekend....MGW Shifter
After that ??? I may hold off on anything until next year and see how things shake out and start planning on FI.

Kyle, got rid of the other grille?
This black one looks much better!
You should think about some clear corners now.

I hear you on the clear corners. They are moving up the list. Next I get to focus on getting her lowered though.
Nah, that is actually my roommate's. (user name- 5.0wnage) His is pretty heavily restored. Finished off in a pearl white color. He's been to a few shows with me around here.
