Camcovers are in!
Off to see the new Fantastic Four movie, so no time to upload any pics until late tonight or in the morning.
Oh yeah, they look awesome.

Roughly how long would you say it took you to do it, knowing that it'll be longer 'cause your doing the write up ??
I'll probably do mine, paint that is, next weekend and even if you don't have the write up done in time a ballpark would help me out.
Not even installed and that chrome looks
and I might add, posting from my new macbook !!!!

We went to a guy I work with's B-day party today and his brother brought along his GPS. Have any of you guys heard of GeoCaching? It is freaking awesome!
We were at a national park and two "geocaches" were in range. A few of us headed off and out of the two, we found one. It was a tennis ball container wrapped in green tape hidden by some brush. Inside were items to trade (or you can just add items). Also, there was a logbook (with about 80 names) to add your name and date (later you go online to log it). Later, more of us (about 10) went out to search for the one we didn't find earlier. We found it 20 ft away from the coordinates in an ammo box full of great stuff (and a log book). We found an area that looked like it had been walked on and it led us to a tree (it was buried under some pine needles behind the tree). The 250 page log book was 3/4 full - the earliest date was over 3 years ago!
On the way out of the park, we chased a third one and ended up in a neighborhood and parked. The GPS led us to a trail and we found a "micro" one in a tiny tube attached to a chainlink fence covered by some vines. In it was a tiny scroll (the log book).
I'm ordering this tomorrow. Check in the auction and under features, it actually includes "geocaching mode"!
According to his brother, there are over 400,000 geocaches across the globe!
Should add a lot of fun to road trips - all the kids that were along absolutely loved it. And there is an amazing sense of gratification when you find the "treasure".

New macbook? Nice!
I have an old B&W screen handheld GPS. I'm sure that it's sorely outdated.
Have a Garmin C330 for the car though.
