Ponies on The Run (Again)
The good thing is no one got hurt! It was the cleanest coupes around, I doubt I'll ever find one again in that condition. The insurance company totaled it and is going to come pick it up today.
First of all, very glad to see that no one was hurt, especially you George.
Lastly. It's sad to see another Notch headed for the junk yard. They just keep getting more rare. Especially unmolested ones that haven't been modded for the track. I've still got my '91 LX vert but I need to get the tranny worked on and fix the top mechanism.

That's the thing that kills me! Most coupes are tubbed out race cars or highly modified cars! I wont find another stock one like that again.
So how's the Cobra R? We have a guy here in socal that has one with 5 miles on it. takes it to all the shows. but he trailers it and pushes it in position. I don't think he has ever started it.
This same guy also has a untouched 93 Cobra R
I put 26 miles on it since I got it last summer. It's being stored in my garage until we move in a couple of months. I'm getting a 4 post lift for the new garage and the R will be stored upnon the lift above Seven. Im very glad I got it and I hope to keep it a long time. I'd like to take it to some shows as I've never seen one at a show in this area, but if i do I won't be pushing it off the trailer. That's just sad.

That's a good question. I think there was the original thread from where it was for sale here, but I asked that it be closed after I bought it.
I picked it up last July I think. It was for sale from an older gentleman in Dallas. It was listed on websites and on ebay. I contacted him through here and I got a very fair price and I couldn't resist. I had to remind the wife that if we sold the old house and I built her a new one that I could get an R. It just fell in my lap.
I borrowed my dad's Superduty and the local Ford dealer was nice enough to let me borrow their tilting car trailer for a day and I drove up to Dallas (6 hours each way) and picked it up. No rain on the way home thankfully.
