I've wanted to do it as well but...

If it's screwed up then it's a 200+ dollar screw up.
I haven't seen any other Bullitt grille with this mod, what if it looks worse. Not wanting to be the guinea pig on this and the chance of an expensive slip has stopped me from doing it.

Aren't the billet grilles fully open. If its OK for them, wouldn't if be OK for me?

I'm laughing at the fact that you're considering this headache because you don't like how it looks in pictures

My two cents, walk away from this diabolical plan

There is a god.... OK, maybe that's a little much. How bout a suspension fairy ?

Clunk-a-potomas is gone . Front-end rattling, clunking and generally being a huge PITA is over .
Being that I'm a little hardheaded... I decided to again look at the swaybar end-links. I hammered and jacked the a-arm up and down, looking for something that would rattle when I smacked it with the rubber mallet.... After getting pretty close to saying F@#k it, dad hit a sweet spot on the sway bar and you could hear it was loose. I was looking at the wrong end of the end-link, it was the bottom nuts that were looser than a .50 ***** in a mining camp after pay day. Cinched 'em down with locktite, had to approx. the torque 'cause there was no-way in hell it would have worked without taking the whole shebang apart, and called it
good.

If it starts up again I'll know exactly what the problem is and then I'll take it apart and do it up right, but I don't think it's going to get loose anytime soon.

I'm not so worried about the tedious work of removing the excess plastic. I've got time. I was thinking it might lose a little structural integrity though. It is plastic.

Nice Brain fixed and not a dime spent just sweat equity!

I started to work of the vac lines on the Rooosh! I finished all of them except the Moroso Catch Can install. I going to have a aluminum billet plate made to hold the can just rear of the EVAP unit. So that'll be Sunday's project. I'll post a picture tomorrow of the lines, it go to dark to take one in natural light.

And the Broncos lost to the Raiders! Seriously? And New Orleans lost to the Cowboys! Very weird week in the NFL this week... Quite a few fans of crappy teams getting some early Christmas gifts! LOL!

Just found out about a local radio station that does this great bit called "War of the roses". Apparently every hour on the hour they take a listener that suspects their significant other is cheating. Then they call the suspected cheater and pose as a flower shop. They tell them they've won a dozen free roses and can send them to anyone. Drama ensues. Here's one from the website.
