Good lord Bill, how did you manage to leave that place, it looks beautiful
Even though the trip had a sad event, it looks like it was a wonderful time, thanks for sharing the pics.... again.
On the shifting. I definitely think it's a leverage thing. For the first install I had the aluminum block and shifter handle down as far, physically, as it would go. Now putting everything level (al. block level with top of shift arm, bottom of shift level with bottom of al. block), it works much much better. You wouldn't thing a 1/2 inch here, 1/4 inch there would be a big deal. It is. Then again I could be in how far off-center the block was with the centerline of the shifter don't know exactly what it was but it's whole-lots better than it was last week. I was getting to the point that I wasn't looking forward to driving it.
That being said, boy now that it's 20 degrees cooler our here the car sure did perk up, especially in the evenings
ok Who wants to see something really cool ?
after all the pictures watch the video at the end a friend of mine on the Island here also a member (Comox) sent this to me really cool !

So you airplane people anyone recall the Avro Areo built then scubbed I had seen a show on History Channel Clive Cussler narrates they were looking for test fired rockets same engine , then it hit me the was a guy here well he passed away but me and my old boss did some work for and her house has like a one room shine with pic`s of hubby and the Avro Plane when being built etc he was one of the designers and lived here wow that was cool to me , she still lives here .
Thanks guys! There's a ton more pics, but I won't bore you with them.
If I had to pick a place to live besides SoCal, The Big Island is where it would be for sure.
By the time we left, I saw several GT's, that 1 Saleen cop car, a GT500, and tons of '10 V6 verts.. and one new Camaro.
