I'll whack the tip off that hangar another day and be done with it.

#2, hookup the ipod cable and reconnect the sub cables to the back of the Alpine.
Had to pull the radio for access, but the ipod cable install was a snap. All controls can be made on the touch screen.
Also, when the phone rings, the music mutes and the ringer can be heard thru the speakers.
I have the cable routed into the center console.

Reconnected the sub RCA's, but almost sounds the same (lacking a little bass from the door speakers). Oh well.

I like the IPOD functionality, my Eclipse unit is crude compared to that .

The Pantry Cafe was too packed! Look at that line!

Went to the Panini Cafe instead, first time.. was pretty good!

Then we took a walking tour of LA to the Grand Central Market.

Cut off saw worked perfectly!

Also got a chance to wipe down the undercarriage. My secret... Windex.

Before - rod tip hits the frame

Marked off an eyeball 1/2"

Prepped for surgery

Burning Metal!

After - plenty of clearance now

Undercarriage shots

Victory drink!

I also had the same problem with the Stinger hanger rubbing. Just went at it with a hack-saw, but got the job done haha.

well I hope that's all it is with mine. Seems easy. Probably knock it out next Sunday.

Big thanks for the pic showing where it rubbed, that alone is the first thing I will check and it's going to be the best place to start.

Nashville is cold. They said it was gonna be in the mid 70s and today it was 44, dropping to 39 tonight, which it is right now. Downtown shuts down early
by the time we got there most of the places were closed or about to. Still was cool to see. Point-n-shoot doesn't do so well at night or questionable lighting so the pics are iffy at best. Hopefully I'll get to take some tomorrow. For the SoCal crew... I took a picture of my Tennessee BBQ tonight, people probably thought I was crazy but I knew you guys would understand

Leo.... man tomorrow is the day. hopefully there isn't issues and you are on the road ASAP. Looking foward to pics and reviews. Adam is going to make your car a beast....
