And that was on an on-ramp! In addition to forged internals, ludicrous speed may require a longer on-ramp.

The way I see it, I was more than content with my latest NA version. Only the recent FI craze pushed me to get the Vortech.

So at ~500 crank hp, I'm good.

Only reason why I went a little overboard with the new shortblock is that I never want that feeling in the back of my head of something possibly coming loose during full throttle/boost ever again. Ever.

where is this 500 hp coming from?

I'll probably miss it. Off to get the wheel with the clear coat problem taken care of and a little laundry in prep for leaving RAINY, yeah you heard me, RAINY So Cal to Buellton/Solvang for a much needed mini Vacation.

I just got back from the new Indiana Jones movie... liked it a lot. We watched the first three all through the week to get ready for tonight.
