Yes I did.... I removed the shaft and found Loctite between the shaft and the adaptor- then again between the adaptor and the flange. I cleaned it all off again, put on a bit less amount of Loctite, and fastened it all back down. Viola, fixed.

I wasn't aware Tom was having vibration issues either Brian. Amazing that all it was is the loctite, that seems really sensitive wow

Sorry guys, I still have most of my posts in the Tech section. The shafts are really sensitive to anything between them and the adaptor.

Hey Leo, glad you're feeling better buddy, its not fun to be down thats for sure. I'm getting another round of steroid infusions (not fun), 5 days worth and it takes 4 hrs to infuse. Leaves a nasty metallic taste in your mouth and a bit of nausea, nothing to terrible, more annoying then anything.

So Leo my question is I notice in the pics that you have the Ford Racing stingers installed now right? What did you have before them, can't remember and to lazy to look So how do you like them? Tone/sound OK? Drone bearable if any?
I like mine soooo much and the drone is hardly noticeable to me, either I'm used to them now or they break in over time. They look great on your GT!

OK get better so Bill can have the party for you, geez does Bill want the party or what

Tom glad you got it figured out, nothing more maddening then to try and solve a problem like that. Did you post any pics? I'll have to take a wander over to the tech section I guess...............

'Old School' 8-ball didn't have Ford blue or red inlays.

Gee, I thought I mentioned that in my write-up (see note in step 10A).

Phil-I had Flowmasters before I got Stingers. The flow's sounded good and were only slightly quieter than Stingers. The Stingers have that extra umph plus the burble during deceleration is awesome.

Feeling a bit better now but still not 100%.

Sorry to hear about your situation doesn't sound like much fun at all.

Jed's telling me not to do the swaybar delete because my handling will suffer. Opinions please... thanks!

Leo and Turbo Tom will disagee. I side with Jed. Losing the front sway bar can and should induce more body roll....Which should increase understeer. Unless I was drag racing I do not see the benefit, even with weight saving. You'd save more by reducing the amount of rotating mass (flywheel, DS, wheels....etc). Most handling kits don't include a smaller bar or a delete, do they ? If you don't do the twisties much then you might not notice. A quick glance gives me this, and says it better than I can.

On a MUCH smaller scale....
I 'raced' R/C Nitro Monster Trucks. They handled like... well like trucks. Putting a sway bar on both ends dramatically improved the handling. you can balance the under/oversteer with the right sway bars front and rear. The scale may be a 8th now but the concept is the same.

I say do it. I really couldn't tell the difference. Worse case scenario you can put it back on in about 30min with basic hand tools.

But why do it in the first place if you don't need the weight savings?
