True. Don't get me wrong, they are nicely constructed stands.

I'd be worried that some lame bystander will kick over the sign when walking around the car. And the majority of people will have to kneel or stoop down to read it and those who can't, just won't bother.
By having the poster displayed where we (you and I) currently have it, it's easy to read while standing in front of the engine.

The atached pic is from the Class winner and shows how he displayed his poster.

Too dull? Man, the Z16 is perfect! Who wants that shiny wet look that appears like it's ready to fling all over the place once the tire starts rolling? May as well use Armor All.
That's the thing... it doesn't fling off at all! It's not thick and wet... it's black and glossy. You can't compare anything to the worst stuff for your tires (Armor All). Armor All (and most tire dressings out there) actually eat away at your tires. The Michelin stuff doesn't and neither does the NASCAR stuff (and I'm sure the Z-16 doesn't either).

Now, tell me honestly, doesn't that tire look a show winner?
I believe that tire was a show winner. But I like the black sheen provided by the Michelin tire dressing (and now the new stuff I finally found).

I don't like that poster it looks to busy. I probably wouldn't read just because of that. The stand looks pretty sturdy and according to Brad you can fill it with marbles or anything else you can think of to weigh it down. About people not bending over to read it. I think with a poster that big the font would be enough so that it wouldn't be necessary to kneel or crouch.

Kudos for Bill. BTW Bill check out the car with the louvers and SHR decklid panel to get an idea of what it would look like on your car.

I wonder how the Meguiar's tire care products are. They even have Professional series products.

Check the label to see if it is free of petroleum-phosphates. If it isn't, then it's no good. Michelin makes pretty good tires, so I figured they would make some good dressing for them. It was the only one that I could find that stated on the label "No petroleum-phosphates". Most others put in very small print "Contains petroleum-phosphates" like they are trying to hide it.

Oh, did I mention that I have several members here on the take to promote my car?

Just kidding guys, we ALL have some pretty impressive rides that'll make the strongest import fan convert over to Detroit Steel!

*Trying to lure Daryl back*

Since he liked the song of my QMX video, here's Amy Lee of Evanescence from their new album CD jacket.

Yeah, it's a bit off-topic, but I'll do whatever it takes.

That's just too much red on the side of the car.

Even though that guys has a Shaker and CDC spoiler, it just doesn't look right to me. Kinda reminds me of red vanilla (if there is such a thing).

Oops... well thanks anyway Tom, as I know you probably would've talked me out of them.

I would have tried... not my cup of tea. Some people like them... and Daryl's (where ever he may be) car looks good with them!

I like the CDC louvers style I just don't like that they look tacked on.
