IMac needs new power supply and optical drive and another day in the shop... $350.

At least it's nothing major but there goes the money for an H-pipe for this month.

I spent the last three days working at victorville airport. We have a few airplanes getting painted out there that needed some work. Just outside on the ramp was a new boeing 787 dreamliner. They wouldn't let me get close to it.

but seriously, I figured they might have use some sort of wrap...wouldnt it be lighter than paint?

 

I might be up for this not 100% sure yet. I love Angie Crest! I wonder if that restaurant is still there and not brunt down due to the fire?

 

Good question. I have no idea, I don't work in the paint shop.

I think the Air Force is looking for years of appearance durability. Not sure if wrap can handle it.

Just guessing here but looking at how the windows are taped up I would say paint. I know the military uses paint but dont really know about the civilian side of planes.

 

I luv me some Angeles Crest, but doing the north meets south poker run on the 22nd.... too much crap to do to take part in both.

I recieved word from Luis today, Lucielle's time to move on has come. We've all had good times modding and hanging out at the install parties.

I'm glad Fly is starting a new chapter with Lucielle 2.0 as I'm sure many adventures await her.
