Update for me I'll show up early but there's a good chance I'm not taking the stang. I have an Expo I have to attend that's happening in downtown L.A. at 12:00 p.m. So by 11:00 I'll be jam'in!

 

I'll be at the Sears parking lot by 9.

 

I'll be there by 6:00 a.m.

 

Just let me know when you guys head over to portillos and I'll meet you there! I just want to drink some beer, get something to eat and hang out with the crew. Nothing at that show I need to see.

Well I'm guessing Portillos doesn't open til atleast 11. If that's the case I'm guesing we'll all be over there between 11-1130. At least that's my plan. As a matter a fact, now that I think about it I may not show up till around 10. That still gives me plenty of time to walk around and critique.

Basically I F'd up planning the weekend. Gonna get together and have the equipment for the Big Sur trip ready to go. Thought FF was next weekend. Now that the GF and parents are set for Sunday to get the stuff ready and last minute equip shopping not too sure I can call it off. Am planning on doing it as early as possible for a later FF showing if you all are still there.

Don't know. Let's say no, then we'll meet up the following weekend or something. That way you're not hauling them all over for no reason, ya know.

Breaking news.....

******* neighbor backs into my car and doesn't leave a note. There's no way it could be anyone else because of the way the parking lot is setup. I tried knocking on his door and got no answer. So I just said **** it and reported it to my insurance. The car's already in the shop and is supposed to be ready within a day or two (I'm not holding my breath). The damage was very minor just a few scuffs on the edge of the drivers side rear bumper and a bit on the ducktail. I'd post pics but there's not enough carnage to merit pics. In the mean time I'm driving a Ford Focus.

This totally screwed up my plans of getting a new LaZboy sofa this weekend.

I'm out $500 if he doesn't fess up. ****ing **********!!!!!

 

Just joined! Getting ready to order. I can;t seem to get the right imfo. on a 5.0 strut tower brace. I know they are putting them on all the converts.and in a couple packages, but are they on all 5.0s standard? If I only add 19" wheels, will I get one?.
Anyone know what the deal is?

But in all honesty by the way you make it sound is that the damage could have been buffed out with a good cleaner wax and a buffer??

 

Not that minor unfortunately. Paint was removed. It was big enough that it will need to be painted but not bad enough to where parts were dented, broken, etc. In all reality I would've preferred it if he'd just taken out the bumper completely. That way I could've upgraded to the CS rear. At least then it would've been worth the hassle of dealing with the insurance company.

Ahh I see now. It just pretty much chip paint and not gouged or broken anything. Well at least the good thing is that nothing was broken needing replacement.
