Shelby bash for me this weekend!

 

I'm sure Jed and I could put some little cruise together. Sunday (of course) is best for me.

 

Dang I canceled my hotel res today for Shelby Bash! Oh well next year! Have fun Steve bring us back some pictures!

 

Thanks I might have missed the memo, last I heard it was Steve and Jed and I had to back out, when did EVERYONE jump onboard ? Anyone doing any of the track stuff ?

But unfortunately I'm not 100% for driving yet. It's a long story and I "can" drive but there are a few complications. I *hope* by Sunday I'm over this little issue

If I get over my little thing, then I should be OK
If not the following weekend for sure.

 

Bill, Luis and I are just going to Vegas. We'll probably stop by and check out Steve assuming he's on the track on Friday. Didn't tell you since we knew you'd be out of commission. With that said looks like Luis and I are going to Irwindale Thursday night. If you can you should drop by and shoot the **** with us.

After reading through a 2011 thread, the new 5.0 will still come with cast rods and pistons.

So much for slapping on a twin screw and confidently cranking up the boost. Way to go Ford.

so they promote the forged crankshaft and leave the crappy rods/pistons in. that is dumb. But... it saves the owner about 600 bux when they do the bottom end and if the bottom is as decent as ours then it's still good for some boost. But I'd lets someone else be that guinea pig.

Now where is the 05-09 4.6 to 5.0 upgrade kit ?? That would be cool
