No chit, Jed-man. My boy got high on your fly-by, even when it was 6 AM and 40 degrees outside!! He did ask, "Wow! That sounded like a Blue Angel!"

OK Brian what CI is that beast? I think the Rousch 427 cubes is plenty size for me, anything larger is over kill for me. I just like the Rousch, its so pretty! I've always been enamored with the stacks going back to the ole days of the webbers

I've always been a fan of big blocks. Small blocks are cool and all but they just don't do it for me. I think the 427 is HP not CI ?? 'cause that's a 302 block in the pic and to push it out to 427CI

It's a Jon Kaase 589 CI Boss 429 engine that puts out....
973 HP @ 6700 and 790TQ @ 6200

Not too bad from a Big Block, IMO

Now that's the way to do overkill. If you're gonna hit someone hit them hard and make sure they don't get up

Isn't there another name for an automatic, Robbieg? Paddle-sh_tters or something like that? Just funnin' w/ya, Leo. It's just that you're the only guy I know with all that excess hp but w/a slip and slide...

Long range I do want to replace the motor with either a ROUSH or Livernoise long block. That's contingent on selling the Arizona pad and I don't see that happening for a couple of years with the economy all messed up.

For Xmas: Well more like in 09 BIG Brakes Baer Extreme! I want to upgrade all corners.

Jed
I think you should look for this in your stocking

This should be your next mod

Sweet but we have to keep things street legal for now. If I owned a pre-smog stang the sky would be the limit for a big block power plant.

Ahhhh one can only dream

There are more people with a crazy amount of HP and an automatic than you would think. As much as I hate to admit it, for the purposes that we use it most the auto is superior.... trust me I hate to admit that.

Shhhh... Steve goes by formergmc... he isn't here much but he pipes in once in awhile.

a F/A18 at ground level is indeed very cool. I like the old-school F4 Phantom, always been my favorite plane besides the SR-71.

With or without the add-on gatling gun?? And now I know where your user ID came from. Please don't say you were a sled driver!

And accepted on the automatic...

Doing it in a fighter jet is easy anyone can do it... Try doing it in a Boeing 727.. Now that takes *****
