yeah... sometimes you don't have the choice of who you run or what class of car is in the other lane. I raced a car last time at Irwindale that was 3 seconds faster. So I may have been waxed but never-ever remotely had a chance. it was his best run from the vid so it's probably the same for him.

OH... I talked to Adam today.... icebox > smaller tires ?? so maybe that'll be first. But to be honest the 300-400 that it'll cost puts it LATE Jan or Feb. I still might have to new tires if these are shot but I'm not spinning them so I don't know.

Well I've searched and searched the Net for a deal on FRPP Stingers (M5230-5GT) and I could find nothing used so I popped for a set of new Stingers from Late Model Restoration (which is based just outside of Austin Texas) for $399 plus $14.95 shipping. Not a bad deal now that its all said and done. Best deal by about $50 from what I could tell or find.
I can't wait to get these bad boys reinstalled, to long with the sissy gurl factory muffs that come on our our beast's. Slowly but surely I'm restoring my ride back to what I had before I thought I had to give up on the Stang.
Today its slightly raining off and on here in H-Town (75 out also) and its stopped raining for awhile but the driveway has a slight sheen of moisture on it and when I came back from grocery shopping duty I stopped and let it rip in the driveway, oh what fun that turned out to be, laid down a nice "patch" as they say for about 30ft. Although the Mrs thought I was a kid/punk for doing it as it squealed oh so nice but gosh it was fun laying down a set of "black" tracks. If it dries out some more I'll take a pic and post it. Love doing that!!!!!
