Concerning the Bullitt Grille only vs a CS front-end and the Bullitt grile....

I get what yer saying. I can't put my finger on it but I don't love the Bullitt and I've seen the fog-less grille on other Stangs with the CDC and I walk away thinking... meh. The CS front-end however I have always loved, right Ray ?? For me it's the Bullitt Grille that puts the CS over the top. That CS front-end is calling me.


and yes... I am hard headed and fully realize and understand what that means to my pocketbook.

 

Where is everyone? The AMA awards can't be that good .

Paid $29 to fill up my tank this morning with 91 octane. 87 was going for 1.88 91 was 2.01.
Can't wait till premium get's under $2

 

91 is still 2.20+ up to 2.50 up here.

It won't but if it stayed here for some time I wouldn't complain

Here's a cheesy video (Far from Bill or Jed quality) I made using the photobucket software. I wanted to add Rob Zombie's Black Sunshine song for background music but the photbucket software only let's you use some crappy preloaded music.

 

Took the day off. I ended up changing the oil today. Went with Mobil 5W30 dino and a regular Motorcraft oil filter. Only cost $23 total, so it wasn't too bad.

Was a little low on the coolant too so I ended up getting some Prestone 50/50.

500 miles on the clock now. Just need to save some duckets for the tune now.

I think that's the creaking from the shifts. Plus down towards the end of the track there's loose gravel. Definitely not coming from the engine.

 

is it just me or did you have traction problems. From the sounds of it, it sounds like you were spinning the wheels. If so... hot dayum, you're times are gonna drop when you make it out to Barona.

 

Kinda/sort of. You can see on one of the runs the car starts going left on me. And I could hear it spin, chirp, bog whatever on the 1-2 shift. So yeah your probably right I might actually run better a Barona. Atleast I hope so. I want that 7.6 time slip so bad.

 

I hope I can get a decent time. It also makes me wonder when I'll have to get new DRs since mine are used ?? I would bet that to get a good number it's going to take the hardest mod of all.... the driver mod
