I went with him last year. It was okay, would have been better if they started serving food alot earlier and had ice cold water bottles for free (or minimal cost).
But with the high temp that day, lack of shaded areas and the lack of aforementioned things, it was a buzz kill.
Thanks.
Not bad especially considering it's branded with the Shelby name. Got mine for $1490.
Probably not only because I'll have had my car dynoed two weeks prior to it.

Dyno Day, prob not. Should have mine back on the rollers to re-tune to the new X-Cal and relo'd IAT. After reading this :

I might see if they can eek out some more power and still keep it safe.

Give Greg a crack if you want more power.
Yeah I should have clarified...
I know that the american racing wheels are not made in China and with a So Cal company, Carson, If there were problems it would be easier to resolve than via an online company with Chinese wheels. Which proved to be beneficial for me when the clear coat came off my drivers wheel a couple of months ago.
Crap, should have been the thread. I'll find the link.
Here 'tis... or should be http://www.modularfords.com/forums/s...=120510&page=3
yeah, yeah funny Mister. I've sold my soul to the Devil already and it's only gonna cost me 100-150 to retune. Is Greg gonna be that cheap ? He's gotta make up storage costs for a certain TR if I recall correctly

I thought the same, coupla hundred more and I get a brand-name. So WTF, right ? Granted that money could have gotten me gauges.

The greed for more power has already begun. No good way to say it online without sound like a ahole so I'll just say it. Why not maximize the hp you got now before adding more? Speaking strictly from a track standpoint.

Not to worry about the storage costs, I already signed a lease.
That's what I'm hoping for at least.
+1. You should at least beat Leo at the track first
Only kidding!

I don't want 500RWHP on the stock engine.
no worries bro.
Yeah I know. But if it's possible to eek out 5-10 more HP, 20 max then what the heck, right. I am REALLY incredibly happy with with I have now and quite honestly don't need any more. If I can get a small bump and still be conservative why not. Track.... It's all in the driver, IMO. Probably the tires.. I was told there was 15-20 good runs left and he sold them AFTER his 60' times started increasing. So I wonder if my 1.90 60' isn't a tire problem more than experience ?? Granted the more runs the better I'll get and no tire is going to make me better.
I knew a guy that worked there when I KNEW I'd be sticking with the stock Bullitts. He walked me through the foundry and I watched a Torq Thrust Wheel being made from one end to the other. Figures after he left I decided to get wheels. Could have saved myself a good chunk of change.
Point of the thread as I took is was that it's possible to push a 500rwhp car with the set up I have without windowing the block. To me that means that while conservative, per Dustin's remarks, there is room to play. So if I can still be safe and get a small bump then why not.
150 tune, Like you said he would... he's cutting me a break because I got the X3 X-Cal. He said it had to go back on the rollers to retune it from scratch (as well as taking the ECU to the dealer and getting it flashed to bone-stock).
Good Luck....
I did. It may have only been .3 but it was a win

Regarding that whole more power thing........ Just remember even if you stay at a "comfortable" range with the engine, you'll still need more upgrades. Manual cars will need a clutch, input shaft, etc....... Auto cars will likely at some point need a rebuilt or replaced auto tranny due to third gear failure..... Both cars will need a rear end upgrade at some point (I think that may be where I'm out now)...... Not trying to be a downer, just thinking out loud I guess.

I just seen the pictures of your car LEO it looks great !!!
