RET update...
Greg's alive! 
He finally returned my call to tell me that my manifold is due in today.
I told him I was worried that he died or decided to go on some extended vacation. He said that he's been dealing with his crashed website and one of his mechanics going awol on him.
Soo.. here I go saying it again.. car should be ready this week. (I just about worn out this catch phrase.

Want to borrow some?... NOT! If I had a dedicated drag car I would do nitrous, along with a fully built bottom end. I think a lot of show guys us it more for looks than the intend on the street. It's the poormans supercharger and over time increases stress and wear on a motor. Soooooo no thanks.

just my .02, seen too many problems with nitrous to be a fan. Tons can be done with it and when done right look out. Just not for me. It does look really cool under the hood though.
True story....
Friend had a Chevelle what was juiced. Went into the mall left the car parked. He didn't know that one of the solenoids was slightly stuck open. Came back out after an hour or so and started the car. Blew the manifold through the hood (fiberglass) along with the other misc parts. I seem to recall that the carb landed a good distance away from where he sat.
Then there's the Dodge Boys in Pro Stock.... "we're not running NOS, yeah.. umm someone stole our motors and um well um we don't have spares and um can't remember how we built the dominating engines um and our girlfriend is um Morgan Fairchild yea that's it, that's the ticket. She my girlfriend 'cause I'm um the Emporer of England... yeah that's the ticket...."

I sighned up for this Mustang Madness, I think Steve is going, any of you hack's going? come on...if so you have until the 22nd Oct to register so get on it! Maybe Yardhouse afterwards or Portillos? Not to get hammered just a few brews with food to end the day.
