Of course someone's going to pick the $65 offer versus the $70.

I have to agree, get the 2nd Gen mounts.

I feel like getting the new mounts just so I can mount the D-Specs and Eibach Pros on before Hector takes off to North Carolina!

Funny, I 've got the original mounts and mine are quiet and don't pop or clunk at all. Maybe that's why I'm not in a super rush to get the new ones.

I have to set time aside to at least do the front install soon or that sping compressor goes bye bye.

Brace... lemme think. I really don't need it and I should save to finally get my gauges. If you don't get rid of them, let me know.

The thread in GT mods has several people saying that the revised mounts are the way to go and that the GT500 ones still clunk Buy the revised ones and if they still clunk we can make sure to get the GT500 ones
Touche'.

Ah good he still has his spring compressor around? I was planning on having to take the struts to a shop and have them do the swap. Sweet.

According to Kevin in the thread you posted above the 2nd gen strut mounts are $8 less expensive than the GT500 ones. So I'm guessing they're about $50-60.

Kevin-
"Those are The Latest and Greatest as Far as Base and Gt Models. They are Good but the Gt-500 Mounts Should Be Better. They are Only about $8.00 Difference Cheaper Ea. Than the 500 Mounts. But both are Better than the Early Clunkers."

Mine didn't start until a few weeks after the D-Spec install. Yeah you need to set a time side asap to install all that stuff you collected while the car was down. Hurry up and pick a date.

welcome back. It can be a chore going through the posts. Thanks the DRs are pretty cool and I can't wait to test 'em out on the track. Numerous people said that 4000+ on launch shouldn't be a problem.... WOW

Woo-Hoo at least one person likes the fire suit look.

See the more you drive it the more you love it. It'll be 10x better once it's all broke in and you can REALLY play around

Ouch. At least the car wasn't tore down so it's good you got to get it back. Bet the wait is killing you.

Good Idea. In fact I'm thinking of just disconnecting mine after the drive to SD and before I get to Barona. Can't hurt.

Looks like I might have sold Dan's.....er my 17" tires. Probably going out to New Jersey and shipping will be a PITA, but I'll have them gone. Probably doesn't matter to most here, but trust me my dad will be pleased.

Looks like I'll be able to get my gauges once and for all soon, probably get the IAT sensor relocated at the same time. It's taken me longer than I thought but the car is coming along nicely.

I've always wondered how the heck you would pack those up for shipping Brian. It's gotta be a pain!
