After a little research on my engine stuttering issue, it may have been a little water in the gas tank from sitting since Feb.

So Bill......How's it feel using the Stang as a DD? Have your neighbors complained about you 5am start ups? Are you throwing the cover on at work? Do you go out to the parking lot every 5 minutes to check up on it? Inquiring minds want to know.
I think it's all a hoax........ he ain't driving it to work. He's so full of crap, his eyes are brown. I mean, heaven forbid the car gets dusty.
Try not to throw up.

For Leo's post,

No complaints, but some dude's car (2 cars over) alarm keeps going off when I start my engine, have no idea why.

Duh! Of course!
I just came back.. to show proof!

and, I'm not alone...

No full throttle yet.. I'm too afraid something will break!

Feels good! Just have to get up 30 mins earlier so I can get a better parking spot.

Tom & Brian.. bite me!

Have no idea, but my gas usage was very close to Leo's when he makes the trip in his car (~7/8 of a tank r/t).

Funny how you and the other Mustang driver both parked closer to the lined area.

^I'd do that too. I'm not surprised Bill's driving it to work, I mean, wouldnt you want to drive it more, if you couldnt drive it for 6 months? Shoot, I like getting my car back after a week.
Luis, I'd take the sticker off too.

These things are seriously good looking and freaking heavy. They feel like quality well built items. Hopefully they'll Perform as well they feel.[/quote]
I don't smoke but thinking of taking up after those pics
I have these... So did a lot of research on them prior to my install. There is not much as far as HP increase when only installing shortys but they aid once you have a SC, etc. They allow you to take full advantage of other mods. That's why you will not find HP numbers on the JBA site for just the shortys. Just like fabman said the difference is compounded with other exhaust mods.
The most noticeable difference will be the exhaust tone. You will get a deeper growl.
They do look cool......I wonder what the power increase is if any?
The stock manifolds look pretty effecient but lack the cool factor completely.

They don't show any HP data on the JBA website regarding the shortys....just 23.4 HP with JBA exhaust....Probably with long tubes, no cats and axle backs.....

Yes they do
I've got to get better pics up.
The General consensus is that shorties aren't worth the cost and labor for the 5 or maybe 10 HP that it adds. Some people claim that they add mid-range power but I've yet to see a single test that adds ONLY the shorties and nothing else for the before & after. But mine were almost free. Cost me to buy the ceramic coating. Not that I agree with that, but I'm not gonna bite the hand that feeds me so to speak. Also I notice that the "firecone" thing that they advertise isn't on these.

Oops I should have kept reading before sending in my reply
Just came back from South Bay FORD, I saw a Shelby KR.
They were asking 132K for it, that included a 50K dealer premium
. I'll post some IPHONE picts later, I'm at work

Although they look as if they wouldn't fit in the engine bay when you compare the size of the stock manifolds.
