Plastic Part under Chassis

Hello Guys,

I see a plastic part under the chassis of my 2014 Mustang 3.7, I attached pics. This part is on the passenger side. Could anyone tell me if this is normal and if your 2014 Mustang has the same part? My concern is I warped this part when I back off onto an ice chunk on the ground.

Thanks a lot!

Best I can tell it looks like a valence to control airflow under the car. I'm in no way sure though. If it's plastic, doesn't do anything but hang there, you should have nothing to worry about.

Thanks, mine is just hanging there, does not touch the ground if my car doesn't run on bumpy road. I want to try tucking it up against the chassis. There is no same part being sold on ebay or other sits.

I haven't looked under mine (I know that's hard to believe), but it looks like I need to just for that thing. Just to make sure you may want to ask your service dept. guy before you do anything with it. Let me know, I'm curious.

Hi wanted33, I checked with the service guy, they said it will be around $120 for the part and labor. I did not tell them that I want to flat that warped part by myself, but I think it is not hard to fix it by myself.
