That's where the Wifey's tires are now. They are coming off this coming spring. They roar, bump, thump, and in general ride like crap. There won't be any P-Zero's on the car ever again.

I second that with mine as well!

That's unfortunate to hear but very helpful in decision making. I haven't owned Pirellis before but always wondered if I was missing something. I'll stick to the Michelins and Goodyears where I have had no issues over many decades of use. The Goodyear Eagles on my GT are just outstanding in all conditions. I have about 20,000 miles on this set, mostly highway miles but also spirited driving on the curves here in the mountains.

Do you happen to have the Eagle GTs? If so, I will vouch for those being a pretty competent tire. They became the standard tire on the Model S and Ford dealers were stocking them as OEM replacements. I have a buddy with them on his car and he's been really happy with their all around performance.

Yes, they are the GT's, and just a wonderful tire. Quite pricey but you get what you pay for, most of the time anyway. The BFG G-Force (which were the originals on my car) were OK but not as impressive. I'm going through the same thing with my 16" rims on my Trans Am. Goodyear stopped making them in my size and the G-Force just aren't the same. Not many choices out there for that size and I don't want to get away from 'stock'.

I know you all are talking about tires ... but just wanted to remind you ... Steeda parts are manufactured right here in the U.S.A - Valdosta, GA to be exact!

Best Regards,

They don't make the Nittos, they just sell them. The '*Our* parts are made in the USA' is safe.

Now i have two sets of Michelin Pilot 3's A/s 1 stock for factoty rims & a staggered set for my bullitts.
I can take a 30 kilom corner & 90 kilom & not even slide, we have a lot of rain here on thecost & absolutly love the saftey that these tires prove.

Too bad "made in the USA" doesn't insure anymore quality than anywhere else.

Those are indeed outstanding tires you have. I had a set on my old 911 and it just doesn't get much better for a street tire. Pricey, but worth every penny.
