My Rottie does ok but she is having problems with the left turn for some reason  she seems to want to gas on it most of the time as well.. also sticks her head outta the window alot even in the rain, any way I think she is ready for a state driving test...
we tried the left again last night, almost made it, ran through the neighbors yard, im not to disappointed, the right turns are going well...I'll keep you all posted, anyone want to see the pics..lol

My husband and have a second "everyday driver" car (Honda Element) that we use for this purpose. There is no way we'd take the chance of putting any of our animals (2 gregarious little kitties) in the car and risk anything being damaged...not to mention my husband won't allow it! Heck, I can't even go grocery shopping in his car...he's ****, what can I say. If you have the luxury, I'd get a second vehicle so you can keep your Mustang in great shape both inside and out. You never know...it might be worth money some day!

Yup, Lucy the Basset Hound rides in the stang all the time. After all, a daily driver is just that--hairy occupants and all!

It is only REALLY fun when I get the wife, the son in a car seat AND the dog in the car!
Yep. Same here. Winnie the Basset Hound *will* ride in the 06 when it's built next year.

Here she is--awake, even! She only sleeps about 18 hours a day. What a life!

I had my brothers two dogs in my car ONCE. They scratched the leather and the center console, and it took 3 months to get all the hair out of the car. It was everywhere!

Animals in my Mustang will never happen.

I take my dog for rides in my car and wife's car (who has leather). Nothing like an old bed sheet to help protect the seats.

Absolutely, my dog loves car rides. I don't know how I'd get her to the vet if I didn't let her ride in my car.

My dog is allowed in the car I have now (which I'm keeping), but will not be allowed in the Mustang. Looking at his picture, can you blame me?

My cat LOVES the car. She just sits on the floor board. I took her all the way from Austin to New Orleans when I had my truck. She hates the cat carrier. She just sits on her blanket

the greyhound rides in the backseat whenever we take him somewhere. not the safest thing for the animal if there were to be an accident, but he lays down most of the time.

don't have an suv to put a crate in, so we do what we have to.

I have a Boston Terrier and a Boxer that love to ride. However, they have not set a paw inside the New stang, and they won't! I love 'em to death, but I barely let my husband in there! I had a '95 stang that I sold when I got my '05 and the dogs had been in it MAYBE twice. Looks like they'll just have to settle for a ride in the Explorer (it has more room anyway).

Dogs in car.... :nono:
