Opinions wanted on Dunlop tires

I am currently shopping for tires to go with my new rims. I have always used either Goodyear or BFG on everything that I've owned unless it came with something other from the factory. However in shopping for 20's I've found that BFG's are pretty gosh darn pricey, and Goodyear doesn't really make anything that I like. I had decided on Nitto 555's but then I found these Dunlop sport 8000's for really cheap so I was wondering what your experiences have been with Dunlops in general.

Check out www.tirerack.com. I've never had any experience with Dunlop's, but you can compare them to many other tire brands/models. The Pirelli PZero Neros are available in 255/35/20's, and that seems to be the most popular 20" size. I've had excellent luck with traction on mine, and have 36,000 miles on them. They are getting worn, but not worn out quite yet...maybe another 8,000 miles or so. Also, they have suffered many smokey burnouts/doughnuts in parking lots!

They are owned by Goodyear and have been in business just as long.

I bought four for my '97 Cobra, when I had it. I didn't think they improved anything from the cheapo's that had been on there. You'll probably have to pony up the cash for the Goodyear's if you want something special.

TireRack seems to have positive feedback. My only concern would be cold weather driving, but someone wrote that they were from PA and put 45,000 miles on these tires. Good to go!

looks like I'll be buying these, car doesn't go outside in the winter. Money saved will go towards some slicks for track use!
