You could join the Terlingua Racing Team, and apply their decals to your car.
They have small (5HP) and large (10HP) ones:

11shelbygt500, can't talk you out of it since I have already done it about 3 months ago, I like them it gives a little more detail.
They have little plastic washers in them to seal better?, anyway don't overlook them I almost did.
Sorry my cheap mod was months ago, so no picture but next one will.

As for this thread, the old Tacoma forum I was on, had a sticky with cheap mods. It was arranged by much you were willing to spend. All down the page were mods separated $0-50 $50-100 $100-150 with links to the product. Definitely a great thread if you only had a little cash and needed some ideas. It also helped it was updated constantly. I think this thread is a really good idea if it could get up and running with some quality, cheap mods.

I'm just curious as to what every bodies definition of a modification is.
It seems to me that a lot of you think that unless you throw down a good amount of cash, its not a modification. If that's true, those of you who believe that, are extremely ignorant.
Just my 2 cents.

I picked up the MMD satellite radio antenna cover. It cleaned up my trunks look and cost about 60. I think it's a good cheap mod.

It is annoying to filter through pages of crap to find an actual answer. I suppose time and place mean very little to some people.

I think the consensus is starting to get tired of it. You'll see the mods cracking down more soon. Which is sad because it's great that our mods aren't dictators

Well under what $50 and actually does anything???
160* Thermostat...
MSD wires might creep under that price...
LEDs in sidemarkers, interior and license plate would be under $10.
LEDs for front turn sigs would be $20
HID retrofit for those with the lower projector fogs would be $35
That's it.
Would you consider subframe connectors a mod? Many people can make them and install them for less then 50 bucks.
Is lowering your car a mod? You can cut a couple coils out and you have a lowered car for free.
Installing a convertable x-brace to a non-convertible car is a mod. Go to the junkyard, pull one, install on your coupe. It greatly increases rigidity and in turn handling performance.
A cold air intake can be made for under $50.
Is customizing your interior a mod? Most parts or materials can be had for under $50.
For the S197, this is one example I've found. No need to get a tune to improve throttle response. http://m.mustangforums.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=339045
Point is, you don't need to spend gobs of money to have worthwhile mods. Just a little research, some know-how and patience.

This thread has become worthless. I've been checking back hoping for ideas and maybe pics of small details that can improve my car. Instead I get pages of people measuring their manhood. I hope that goal of this forum is to simply amuse yourself and not share the great amount of knowledge that many of you have. It's nice that you can make funny posts and take jabs at people you don't know. It would be nicer if you could share the knowledge you have instead.
