NT05 - Puncture

Well I have less than 100 miles on my new NT05 and I picked up a small self tapping sheet metal screw dead-center in the tire. It's a very small hole and it was easy to plug. It takes about 30 minutes or longer to deflate the tire when I took the screw out, so it's a slow leak.

I moved the tire to the front since I'm running 275s on all 4 tires but should I worry about the tire at higher speeds? The leak is very slow so if the plug came out I don't think an issue would be immediate and I doubt the tire would just blow out...but you never know for sure.

Any thoughts on this?

For street use? Repaired by a reputable shop? Should be fine, don't know if I'd test it at over 130mph myself, though. I have the same tires for the track right now, they stick nice and are quieter than I expected given their tread design.

They are very quiet. I had a local shop patch the tire. The hole is so small they said it would never blow so I will take their word for it.

I will move this tire to the spare once my 5th wheel comes in. Not sure how to mount it yet but I have some ideas.
