Nitto NT05s just arrived

Just got some Nitto NT05s in the mail today. I won't get them mounted for another week and a half because I'm getting married Saturday and I won't have time. Hopefully these will help my autocross times.
Here are some pics.

Can you measure the width with a tape measure?

I just measured and it looks like the contact patch is 10" wide and 10.75 total width.

I've had my Nitto's NT05's on since spring. They are very good. 295/35/18 I love them

Appreciate it. I've always thought my tires seemed small but I guess it's on par with Nitto's sizing.

HAHA. Only when I'm nice. I made sure to purchase the tires before I said the vows. I'll post pictures of what I did to the church parking lot when I can get them from my camera.

Do you mind posting some side shots of your car? I'm interested in the Pentar wheels for my VB GT/CS.

Looks great, heard some good reviews on them... they were one of my top runners when I was looking for new wheels/tires, until I found a package that included tires.

Well I autocrossed on the new tires yesterday. The nt05s have a lot of grip and are very predictable. The never just let go without waring.

The only thing is that the edges of the center rib got rounded down pretty bad. I don't know if this is normal or should be expected from 8 autocross runs. Another guy with a WRX STI has nt05s and has the same issue. I marked on the picture where it wore down and I'll take a picture them tonight.

What does everyone think. Is this "normal" for 1 day of autocrossing?

Soft tires, wide tread blocks, seems reasonable to me. KDWs are much harder, so probably got a lot more life out of them.

Where did you buy them from?
