That is what i was thinking plain old air is probably just fine
but with tires at the cost they are I wouldn't complain about getting some extra mile out of a set.

6 of 1, 1/2 dozen of the other. Nitrogen's benefits are too miniscule to pay for. If you can get it for free thats good, if not, dont bother paying for it.
IMO the biggest benefit of getting nitrogen is that in most cases its a dry gas and if you live in a high humidity area with shops that dont properly seperate the water from the compressed air, that water vapor trapped in the tire isn't good (causes corrosion - bad for steel and aluminum rims, as well as chrome rims, and TPMS sensors)
People who live in dryer climates dont have to worry about that obviously.
Now one down right crappy aspect of having nitrogen, some shops and the junior chemists they employ with refuse to fill a tire with as mixing nitrogen and air makes water or other "dangerous" conditions which frankly has me watching for a super big lawsuit (justly deserved) for letting a somebody go down the road with a critically under-inflated tire.

/and if you believe that... well, Google has plenty of examples of what you can buy from me: http://www.google.com/search?sclient...32650546877610
