Well, I suppose initiations are not always pretty for newcomers specially if exchanges become heated. Perhaps we just saw Ron's bad side, some of it provoked. This site is too good not to share and none of us can claim supreme infallibility. Besides, he does have a a nice looking GT.

I say he passed the test although his sense of humor appears to need some work. It's Miller Time boys.

Passing a test is one thing, threating others by stating "I cary a sawed off 10 gage for idiots on the freeway and for you all I give an invitation." goes way beyond what any "sane" individual would say or do. This, to me, is a perfect example of why guns are way out of control. Give someone a gun and they act all macho and stuff thinking that no matter what situation they are in, it can be resolved by using a bullet.

Crap, I'm out of popcorn and my patience is wearing thin.

Umm...err, welcome!

I like the Shelby and will enjoy driving it. Obviously the Shelby is not for you. If you decide to get the Roush or Saleen I hope you enjoy them too.

I'll be sure the next time I visit home in Texas I don't **** off anyone with a red Mustang. I don't like getting shot at that much.

I tried not to answer anymore on this post but you guys wont let this die, so I'll Give a little explanation, Houston is a very dangerous place to drive espescially at night, Car jackings take place all the time, I have killed many people in my life and one more car jacker wont bother me in the slightest, I don't make idol threats. Because I carry a gun doesn't mean I can't agrue with someone, but im not going to walk on the other side of the street with my daughter when walking upon a group of guys either.
This was probibly mostly my fault, I should have started off with
" Hooody Ya'll from Texas"
I can't take back what I have written, Lets just quite this post. Or Ban me , what ever that means.

Ron

You make it sound like it would be so much less expensive to get your hands on a Ford GT motor and a Navigator tranny, (6 speed auto isnt even offered) and toss it in a regular mustang GT yourself. Not to mention a different exhaust, interior upgrades, body pieces, etc. It sounds like you think this car is basically a regular mustang GT with 7 extra letter attached to it. Let it be know that the most powerful roush doesnt even come close to 489 RWHP, and will also be more expensive. Same with Saleen with the exeption of the Extreme, which will probably be in the Viper price territory. You can hack the GT500 for everything excpet for what you get for the money. A lot of people say it isnt built well enough, or its too heavy....thats fine...but if you want that corrected, its gonna cost about as much as a 500 hp car should. Its a down right bargin.

hey adrenalin... here's some more popcorn this is getting good...

This has more than run it's course. Feel free to start another thread on the relative merits of the GT500, but this one is closed!
